Vintage Out !???!
Is “Vintage” really out? According to Harmony Walton, Founder, BridalBar.com, contributor to The Huff Post Weddings, Posted: 11/15/11, :
“Sprawling fields of high grass, hillsides off in the distance, and … a gorgeous bride and groom perched on a vintage velvet burgundy chaise. Oh, the memories of the vintage wedding and its somewhat silly staged photographs. The not-so timeless vintage theme is one that often incorporates elements such as 50′s era luggage used as décor, mismatched chairs reminiscent of a casual backyard event, and floral vessels made from all types of throwback food canisters.”
Well, to me that is quite a bold statement. I have noticed that the last two years have been building and building towards “vintage” styled weddings. I do not personally see this trend going away for quite some time. I think that brides are really embracing their love of the past and the present, and for goodness sake, and recycling! I think this is much more than a “trend” and we will continue to see the theme for quite sometime. I personally think we should change the term “Vintage” to “Americana”.

A wedding like none other..
Truly a wedding like none other we have done. From the beginning when Lynn at Studios 1019 referred Sandy and Damon to us, we knew immediately we were all a perfect fit! Their cool, laid back sylin ways gave us the freedom to create a dream of a wedding day. Catered by Nick and Sam’s, lighting by ES Events, rentals from Posh Couture, ceremony music by Serenata Strings, Cake by Elena’s Cakes, Officiant by Pneuma Center, Valet by Crown Valet Service, shot by XO Photography and floral and decor by us. What a cool team of pros…It was truly, the most incredible experience I have ever had with a couple. Please take a moment and enjoy the amazing pics by QC. OH!
